Cinematic Wedding Trailer Video by Crane Media

I love movie soundtracks.  I first heard this particular song over 10 years ago and I’ve been waiting for the perfect video to use this one on.  The time finally came with Angela & Ted’s wedding at the Halekulani Resort.  The setting, the decor and of course, the bride combined with the powerful music made this one of my favorite videos.  Hope you like it as well…feel free to let me know what you think of it.

Preffered Vendor at The Kahala : Repost

As of April 1, 2008, Crane Media Productions has become a prefferred vendor at the Kahala Resort. It is such and honor to be a part of such a prestigious group. A huge MAHALO to everyone (clients and vendors) who supported me with recommendations letters. We are excited to work with some of the best professionals on Oahu at one of the most exquisite properties in the world.

Something for the children

We all lead busy lives, right?  Life seems to move at a thousand mph.  Sometimes I feel like I don’t have any time for myself.  Yet in the midst of my own self pity, I am given a gift.  The gift of helping someone else.  Tonight, a group of individuals banded together to throw a Christmas party for the children at Kapiolani Hospital.  As I spoke with the staff there, they mentioned how difficult it is for these families to have a party for their children due to all the treatments that occupy their time.  I watched a sweet young girl, still wearing her hospital gown, smiling ear to ear as she got her hair and makeup done by some of Hawaii’s top makeup artists.  Her picture was then taken by professional fashion photographers.  I can imagine how joyful she must have felt.  As a father, I cam imagine how happy her parents must have been to see their daughter smiling and enjoying herself.  Thanks to Kapiolani Hospital for hosting the event, the Wedding Cafe for organizing it, all the volunteers who poured out their hearts.  Most of all, “Thank you!” to all the children who came out and blessed our hearts.  You gave us much more than we gave you.

 

Thankful to great friends

We are thankful for a lot of things.  This year, we were guests of the Louis’ for Thanksgiving dinner.  It was turkey with a mexican twist.  Thank you Dave, Lupe, Missy, Devon, Steven and Gilligan!

OWA Christmas Party

Just some photos from tonights OWA Christmas Party.  We dined at Ploi Thai Restaurant and I must say that the food was AMAZING!  I love pad thai, summer rolls, yellow curry and the list goes on.  I highly recommend checking it out!  They have regular dinner seating downstairs and a private party room upstairs where we had our gathering.

True Story | True Love

Okay, this is a true story of true love.

A few weeks before the wedding day, while they were sleeping, Berni and Elton’s home caught on fire. I don’t have all the details but I do know that Berni only had enough time to grab her wedding rings before leaving the home. The next day, she called her wedding planner, Laura Lewis, to tell her of the news. Concerned, Laura asked Berni how she was doing. Berni’s reply was that she had gained more than she lost.

 ”How so?”, asked Laura. Berni told Laura of the heroic

 actions of her fiance, Elton. How he not only protected her, but did his best to alert the neighbors. With that, she knew without any doubt that she was marrying the right man.

We think that Elton chose the right girl as well. Berni and Elton, thanks for letting us be a part of your celebration!

Time for turkey

I can’t believe it’s almost Thanksgiving again.  We just had a whirlwind month.  Some challenges but lots of good came from this month.  Now I’ll finally have a chance to take a breather after a long summer and fall of weddings.  I am so thankful that my family is healthy and happy.  My beautiful wife is always so supportive and my two daughters are truly angels…even when their misbehaving, I can see that they really want to be good girls.

Thanksgiving has to be my favorite holiday.  It has all the same festivities as Christmas, without all the same expectations.  We spend time with family and friends and no one is wondering if what they are getting or giving is good enough.

This year, as like last year, we will be spending Thanksgiving with our dear friends, Dave and Lupe Louis (and their family).  Many of you may know Dave from his company, Dynamic Soundz.  Dave is one of the finest DJ/Emcees in the industry…and an all around good person.  Plus, he’s pretty handy around the kitchen.  When we get together, it seems our wives enjoy taking a back seat to the cooking duties.  Can’t wait to get my hands on the juicy drumstick!

Mary vs Kelly | A Perfect Day

Here’s a fun spoof we did for “A Perfect Day” wedding consultants.  Mary played the role of “PC” and Kelly was “Mac”.  You gotta hand to Mary for really getting into her character.  I was cracking up the whole time that I was editing it.  Special thanks to the following:
